Det finns mobiler och tv apparater. Ny teknik alltså.

Boken är rak kronologi för det är dag för dag. Alltså måndag, sen tisdag ,sen tors och så vidare. 

Boken är i presens för att tempuset är i nutid.

Vi tror att det utspelas år 2010, vi tror också att det är kronologisk ordning för att det är inte många flash backs det är bara ibland det blir och det är mest när dem berättar om när dem var små med mera.

Vi tror att de e 2000-talet men vi vet inget exakt år, vi vet det för att Ester och Johan och johan har mobiler, datorer och tv-paprater.

Boken är skriven i kornologisk ordning för att de skriver allt i ordningen som det händer, men de hoppar mellan två personer.

"Det är så logiskt alla fattar utom du" har en rak kronologi för att den går alltid från det tidigaste som har hänt till det senaste men kan hoppa fram lite då och då fast alltid i en kronologisk ordning för att den går aldrig back bara fram. De har lite flashbacks i boken men det är alltid så att de berättar om när de är små och inte går bak i tiden så det är fortfarande en rak kronologi.

Boken är i nutid för att de har mobiler och andra saker som finns i nutid. Fast den har inte de nyaste mobilerna för att den är skriven i början av 2000-talet.

Boken är i presens för att de berättar inte vad som har hänt utan vad som händer.

Tiden är runt 2000 talet för att det finns mobil som var bätre än de första mobilderna.


De hoppar i tiden ganska ofta för först så var det mitten i september och sedan slutet i oktober. och då är det ett rakt kronolågist ordning. för att det är från september till oktober och inte typ från september till maj. Det finns att det är små flash back från när de var små men det är fortfarande en rak kloroolisgt ordning för att det är Ester eller Johan som berätar.


Förfataren skriver i deras tid tillexempel. "Fattar du att du är inte gravid, INTE GRAVID!
och det gör så att det blir änklare att läsa och förstå. Det är som om vi är i karaktäranars huvud just när vi läser och då blir det som nu tid.

Året i boken verkar vara någonstans i 2000-talet för att det finns mycket teknologi och beteende från vårat år, boken har kronologisk ordning, man får läsa nästan dag för dag, sällan tidshopp, deras sätt att prata visar att boken utspelar sig nånstans i 2000-talet.

miljö beskrivning - Johans hus Hanna Javi Golsa

Vi tror att johan bor i ett rad hus som är två våningar. Hos johan är det städat men ändå rörigt. Det är väldigt mycket saker överallt förutom köket dem är väldigt mycket i köket i boken så känns det som att dem tillbringar mycket tid där.

Johans rum känns litet typ bara en säng och en lampa. Det är väldigt enkelt sov rum som han har känns det som.  Det känns som att han har gråa väggar och mycket hund hår.

i huset så ser allt gult eller grå färgat ut.

Hemma hos Johan

Hemma hos Johan är miljön mörk och deprimerande, vinfläckar på golvet.

Typiskt tonårsrum som är o städat.

Replokalen 

Det luktar öl och en skumgummimadrass i replokalen. Instrument radade upp.

Ester hus

Lugnt förutom Emil med sin höga musik på spelet. Både Esters och Johans hus har två våningar och därför bor de i ett radhus eller villa. Vi vet inte något om inredningen men det är ett ganska lugnt ställe.
Esters rum är väldigt stökigt och kläderna i garderoben är bara inslängda.

Johans hus

Det är en väldigt orolig plats för att hans föräldrar skiljer sig. Hans rum är ganska städat och saker ligger i ordning. Ibland är det inte lugnt för att hans föräldrar bråkar och ibland är det alldeles tyst.

Replokalen

Replokalen luktar äckligt och det är mycket instrument. På nätterna låter det väldigt mycket och det finns mycket öl och fulla partande människor. Många knullar och hånglar där på nätterna te x Adam och Ester.

Johans hus: Det är kaos, det är stökig, han bor i ett radhus

Replokalen: Det luktar öl, och är klibbigt på väggarna och massa ölburkar på golvet. Det finns massa instrument. Det ligger en smutsig skumgummi madrass inne i hörnet. Det finns fönster. Det låter säkert ganska mycket när dom spelar i replokalen för att det ekar eftersom att dom inte har så mycket möbler och nästan inget på väggarna.

Johans hem: Vi tror att Johan bor i ett radhus med bara sina föräldrar. Det är snyggt och prydligt, ganska stort. Det blir stökigt och smutsigt när Johans mamma och "pappa" bråkar. Det är nog ganska mycket skrik och bråk hemma hos Johan.

ESTER

Hon gillar hårdrockare, hon gillar Adam och han är hårdrockare, hon bryr sig inte om insidan av folk, bara utsidan.Hon är kriminell,l hon kom in i en klubb gratis, och under årsgränsen.

Johan

Han gillar Ester, fast Ester vet ej, han gillar att vara ensam, han är annorlunda än de mesta, han gillar orientering.Han är fösvarsam för sin mamma, och beter sig som en typisk tonåring.

Johan

Johan är en kille som inte gillar att vara omkring folk. Den enda han gillar att vara med det är Ester. 

Johan och Ester har känt varandra sen de gick i dagis, och nu är han kär i Ester. Han gillar att orentera själv och han tycker att det är onödigt att spela fotboll.

Johan är tillbakadragen och vill bara vara ensam. han tror att hans pappa är otrogen och hans mamma vill inte veta det.

Ester

Ester gilar rock killar. En hon gillar extra mycket en kille som heter Adam som är med ett band. Ester är väldigt på Adam, och Adam vill bara ha hennes kropp och inget mer. Ester har en storebror som heter Emil som hjälper henne att komma in i olika klubbar.

Han tycker om att vara ensam och gillar inte fotboll men orientering tycker han är kul. Han är kär i Ester. Ester och Johan är vänner men Ester är inte kär i Johan. Hans pappa är otrogen.

Ester

Ester gillar hårdrockare och har en storebror som heter Emil. Hon är kär i en kille som heter Adam och han är hårdrockare. Ester använder sin brorsa för att gå på konserter.

Chapter 9: The Truth

Chapter 9: The Truth

In this chapter we are going to practise tying up loose ends.

● The main character is going to find out how it all  fits together.

Describe how he/she finds it out.

● You have to decide what is going to happen with the monster and the classmate.

● Important questions to think about to make sure you tie all loose ends together:

○Who had written the poster?

○Who had turned it around an re-written it?

○Who had written the poem and why?

○Why had someone made notes in the book (if you wrote that)?

○How did the animal become a monster?

○Why was the monster in the basement?

● Try to make you explanations a bit unexpected. It still has to connect with the things you have written earlier. The reader should think: Aha, I should have understood that.

● Read all your chapters and feel free to add or change to make the explanations in the end both tricky and yet reasonable.

Chapter 8, The Revenge

Chapter 8: The Revenge

In this chapter we are going to practise describing an event.

● The main character is going to use the bait and manage to get the monster to scare the stupid classmate.  

● The classmate is going to be scared and regretful.

● Questions to help you: Where does the main character take the monster to scare the classmate?

Are there other people there? If so, how do they react? Are any of the nice people you described earlier there (for instance the nice adult from chapter 2, the harsh adult from chapter 1, someone from the library, a friend)?

Chapter 7, The Mixture

Chapter 7: The Mixture

We are going to practice writing a recipe in this chapter .

● The main character is going to be back in the same place as in chapter 1.

● The mean pupil is going to be or has been extra mean/stupid.  

● The main character is going to mix a bait.

● She/he will use the bait to  attract the monster and to frighten the mean classmate (in the next chapter).

● When the main character is thinking about what to use in the mixture he/she is going to use the facts from the text she/he read.

● Use one quote from the text.

● Write down the recipe.

● Questions to help you: What is the mean classmate doing? Which ingredients are suitable for attracting the monster? Are there any ingredients missing? Could the nice adult from chapter 2 help?

Chapter 6: The Book

Chapter 6: The Book

In this chapter we are going to practise writing a text based on facts.

● The main character is going to read a book about animals to try to find out more facts about the monster in the basement.

● The main character is going to find a text about the animal. (about the actual animal not the monster animal).

● Write the text that the main character is reading. Get your facts from a book or from the internet.

● Questions to help you: Is there anything else mysterious happening at the library? Are ther any other persons there? What is the atmosphere like at the library? Does is seem as if someone else has been reading the book? Maybe someone has  written notes in the book?

Nu ska vi träna på att läsa flera olika texter om samma tidsperiod, men med olika perspektiv. Medan vi läser ska vi träna på att samla viktiga ord som tvåspaltsanteckningar. Till slut ska var och en skriva en faktatext utifrån de samlade orden.

Chapter 5: The Poem

Chapter 5: The Poem

In this chapter we are going to practise writing a poem.

● The main character is going to see a poem posted somewhere.  

● The poem is about that it is uncool to believe in monsters.

● Write the poem

● Finish the chapter with the main character going to the library.

● Questions to help you: Where is the poem written? How does the main character feel after having read the poem. Are there other people reading the poem? Does the main character suspect anyone special for having written the poem?

Chapter 4: The Discovery

We are going to practise describing things with adjectives and adverbs in this chapter.

● The main character is going to discover the monster in the basement.

● Describe in all possible ways what the monster looks like, how it moves, how it sounds and how the main character is feeling. Use as many adjectives and adverbs as possible.

● When you have described it thoroughly reveal that the monster is an animal that has been a little bit transformed.

● Questions to help you: How and why does the main character go down to the basement? Does he/she meet anyone on the way down?

How does the monster differ from how the real animal usually is?  How does the main character leave the basement? Is someone coming to help the main character? Will the main character try to tell someone about what he/she has seen?

Chapter 3, The Poster

We are going to practice to write a news article in this chapter.

● The main character is going to see an odd poster somewhere at school. The poster says something about everything being perfectly normal.

● Write the poster with a headline (as few words as possible), a preamble (bold letters, a summary of the most important parts) and body text (more text).

● The main character will turn the poster over and notice the frightening news on its back about a monster.

● Write the poster’s backside with a headline, a preamble and body text.

● No sign of a monster yet.

● Questions to help you: How does the main character react on the poster? What makes him/her turn the poster over? How does he/she feel when reading about the monster? Does he/she suspect anyone in particular of putting up the poster?

The Monster, chapter 2

Chapter 2: The Fear

In this chapter we are going to practice how to describe feelings.

● The main character is now on his/her way somewhere in school.

● The main character is scared because of the sounds he/she heard.

● The main character is experiencing suspect things and is also imagining things.

● The bullying classmate is saying or doing something stupid.

● The main character is seeing another adult who he/she like a lot and who gives him/her comfort and offers a sweet.

● This chapter ends in a feelgood mood.

● No sign of a monster yet.

● Questions to help you: Where is the main character going? What does the bullying classmate do?

What is the kind adult's profession? What is the reason your character is so fond of the adult? Where did he/she use to work? What kind of sweet is he/she offering?

The Monster Chapter 1

Chapter 1: The Sounds

In this chapter we are going to practice how to write a thrilling beginning

● This chapter should take place somewhere in the school where you mix things, e.g. Chemistry class, the canteen, Domestic science class or in the school's nurse room.

● The main character has to be between eight and thirteen years old. Give your character a name suitable for a child.

● The main character is hearing strange noises from the floor in the room you've chosen.

● Add a harsh adult (teacher, nurse, canteen assisstent etc.)

● There has to be a pupil in the class the main character thinks is mean is scared of.

● You have to write as if you were writing about someone elese and that it happened earlier (imperfect tense).

● Begin in media res. Start with action and descibe the environment and the characters later. It might be a good idea to start with a line, like this:

”Did you hear the sound?”

Tom's classmate Steve turned around and stared at Tom.

”What sound? Everyone is talking.”

Harsh Harry gave Tom and Steve an icecold glare...

● End this chapter with everyone leaving the room. This whole chapter is taking place in the room.

● Questions to help you: What's the main character like? What does the main character look like? Who is the harsch adult? Are there any rumours going around about the harsh adult? Is he/she really mean? Does the main character have a really good friend? What does the bullying classmate do to scare the main character? What does the room look like? What are the sounds like? What are they doing in the room when the events take place?
